1/ why do I bother to write this thread?
I think it is a great example of the potential that the tools have that this amazing technology enables us to use
but let's have a quick look at what we did
2/ I'm super hyped about @SyndicateDAO, so we used their platform to create our @WhenHouseDAO collective
all our telegram members got to mint a $HOUSE NFT membership-pass for the @WhenHouseDAO
3/ because we want to use the DAO to follow our passion for crypto investing together, we also set up a @gnosisSafe multisig wallet, that we then used to create an investment club on @SyndicateDAO. This is our DAO treasury / investment portfolio
4/ the investment club is token-gated and only $HOUSE #NFT holders can contribute to funding the treasury
for every contribution, the contributor receives $DEGEN tokens (ERC20) proportional to their contribution and the overall funding goal of the club wallet
5/ the $DEGEN token that our members get is our governance token that we use for token-weighted governance in our @SnapshotLabs space
6/ the forum we use to discuss governance proposals, investment proposals, share alpha or just hang out together is our discord server with token-gated access enabled by @collabland
7/ to easily create our portfolios and track assets that are not on $ETH mainnet (e.g. Arbitrum & Optimism), we will likely use @NestedFi, which will also allow us to easily share what we do via @WhenHouseDAO on Twitter
8/ the most amazing thing is that all of this incl. social coordination just took a couple of hours to implement
I just love the opportunities this space gives us. We're at the frontier and sooner or later, we're all going to make it! 🚀✨
