AI is in hyper-growth but suffering a global GPU shortage @ionet_official solves this, serving the AI market cheaper & more customizable compute than traditional providers Raised $30M at a $1B FDV and the airdrop will be huge ($$$)! 5min / 0$ cost guide to the IO airdrop! 🪂 1/ @ionet_official is an absolute leader in the AI narrative. It is also one of the only airdrops out there you can qualify for without having to put any capital at risk. Let me show you how you can run an IO Network worker on your consumer hardware. 2/ But first, let's talk rewards, a.k.a. airdrop. Is it really worth the 5 minutes of your time? Yes it is. If you need a refresher on this game-changer, check my thread below! 👇 x.com/zerokn0wledge_/status/1765407029764767858 3/ @ionet_official has publicly CONFIRMED an airdrop in the context of the Ignition program. 🪂 It has three separate pools of rewards that are completely independent of each other. ✦ Worker Rewards ✦ Community Questing Rewards ✦ Discord Role Rewards 4/ These reward pools are completely mutually exclusive. Participants can earn from all three pools independently, and do not need to have the same wallets associated with each of the sub-programs. 5/ Today, we will focus on how you can set up a Worker for @ionet_official and participate in the dedicated reward pool. But am I not too late already? No. For a given node i, the score is calculated using activity starting from 11th of April and ending 25th of April. 6/ The program records number of point accrued for given node i and sum for each user account a during the full rewards period from (11.04-25-04). At the end, all points will be converted to rewards and distributed pro-rata to each user based on their share of points. 7/ So let's get to it. (Note: we will be doing this on MacOS) To get started, navigate to the website io.net/ Click on "Sign Up" in the top right corner. Choose one of the three options (Google, Twitter, Email) and sign up. 8/ After you sign in, hover over IO Cloud (top left corner) and click on "Worker". Select "Connect New Device" to link your hardware with the website. 9/ Now a menu should appear where you can configure your set up. Here, we choose "MacOs" as our operating system, select "IO Net" as our supplier and "CPU worker" as device type. Give your worker a unique name. 10/ Once you have made your selections, you will see a link that will guide you to install Docker for MacOS. Download MacOS for your chip (Apple or Intel) and follow the installation instructions. Use the recommended settings and install the software update (if required). 11/ Now, your Docker is ready and it's time to set up the worker. Open Terminal on your mac (cmd+space > search for "terminal"). Copy paste the three commands you find can copy from the configuration page and press enter after each of them. 12/ Note: Give it some time to run the installation process. If successful, you should see two containers in your docker application (see video in tweet 11). 13/ If everything is fine, it is now time to check your worker on the website. Wait for the connection and click the refresh button (at the bottom of the page). Note that this might take some time. You should end up seeing your worker UI, where you can see all the details. 14/ By clicking on the "Rewards & Earnings" tab you can navigate to the place where you can add a Solana address for reward payouts. ⚠️ DO NOT USE AN EXCHANGE WALLET ADDRESS! 15/ In the worker UI you should see your worker in a running state with a green dot, indicating that everything is fine. If you click on your worker and you see the outcome from the video here, everything is fine. That's a wrap for today! I hope you've found this thread helpful and you were able to set up your worker! 🫡 Make sure to follow me @zerokn0wledge_ and if you run into trouble, drop your questions in the @ionet_official discord! 🧠 Like/Repost of the also highly appreciated! 🙏
