Interop needs composability, trust-minimization and permissionlessness together
Quote59 words
Argues cross-chain interop must combine composability, trust-minimization and permissionlessness, and that no generalizable, efficient layer delivering all three exists yet. Stays bullish on Union as the fix.
Key claims
No fully generalizable, efficient composability layer combining all three properties exists yet
When talking about interop:
- Composability matters.
- Trust-minimization matters.
- Permissionlessness matters.
Imo we still lack the fully generalizable, highly efficient composability layer that combines all three, and allows any (app)chain to seamlessly plug into it.
It's been a while that I wrote the piece below, still relevant tho, and still equally bullish on @union_build to fix this.

✨ Trust-Minimized, Sovereign & Permissionless Interoperability ✨ Without seamless, asynchronous cross-chain composability across the modular execution layers that compose the multi-chain future, the modular thesis is doomed to fail. ⚠️ @union_build fixes this and will be huge!
