Boundless go-to-market: The Signal and community building as infra strategy

Argues Boundless wins on strategy: a community of advocates, The Signal as flagship application bootstrapping marketplace demand, avoiding extractive VC-designed tokenomics and first-mover position in verifiable compute.

I think @boundlesshq is absolutely killing it. I'm getting increasingly bullish as TGE approaches. And for once, I'm not talking about the tech, I'm talking strategy: - Infrastructure projects often struggle to build strong communities, as the tech they build is too abstract, and not actually user-facing. Boundless is different. Through a combination of strong and cohesive messaging, a (still) successful Kaito campaign, various community activations, and ways for users to actually participate and engage (Berry NFTs, signing manifesto, participating in trusted setup ceremony, run provers, boosting the signal + voting for next chains, etc.), Boundless has managed to establish what infra layers often lack. An army of engaged advocates aligned with the berryfication mission & vision: ZK everything. - Bootstrapping demand for infrastructure (especially on a two-sided marketplace) is a real challenge, and far more difficult than creating pre-TGE hype on Twitter. It's why innovative approaches matter, and why Boundless wins with "The Signal". Basically Boundless' flagship application, "The Signal" is a ZK client that generates a single, verifiable proof of Ethereum's finalized state, and createing a powerful economic flywheel: Boundless provides the infra, while The Signal drives initial, high-value demand, bootstrapping the entire network with real utility from day one. Over 1000 active provers and >91k requested proofs on mainnet beta strongly validate this strategy already. - Many past infra launches have disappointed with highly extractive tokenomics (designed by VCs for VCs), bloated narratives with little underlying traction or lacking revenue potential and value accrual mechanisms. Boundless is different. While we're yet to see the full tokenomics, I'm sure we'll see a considerable amount of the tokens be allocated to the community (yap rewards, prover incentives, testnet airdrop, token sale, etc). I also believe that the revenue potential of a verifiable compute market is absolutely enormous, and that the Boundless team will thoughtfully bake in value accrual mechanisms into the token, that make it the premier vehicle for exposure to the ever-growing demand for this (pre-Boundless) scarce resource. - First movers coining new verticals and narratives tend to do well, and this is exactly what we're seeing here with Boundless. It is the first-to-market ZK proving marketplace for verifiable compute, and will be absolutely crucial infrastructure for the next generation of apps to build on. We're already seeing considerable traction among projects that integrate Boundless ZK tech, and this growth is set to accelerate massively in the years to come. Think the market will recognize this strong position, the unique tech, and huge forward-looking potential, which will be mirrored in the valuation. Highly recommend to DYOR anon.
