InfoFi thesis: why Kaito persists and what creators should do
Post156 words
Defines Kaito as analytics platform, attention marketplace and value distribution layer, and argues creators should adapt rather than deny InfoFi. Expects Kaito to stay dominant and its yap data to be used when projects pick creators.
Key claims
Kaito remains dominant despite cyclical hype
Projects increasingly use such data to choose creators
Kaito is:
- a data analytics platform
- an attention marketplace
- a value distribution layer
Love it or hate it, but it has changed the CT game.
And for creators, I think instead of denying the InfoFi reality, it is crucial to adapt and make use of the tools and opportunities that the shift also brings (both to grow and monetize).
InfoFi will continue to evolve, and the hype of specific protocols, platforms and launch mechanisms will be as cyclical and dependant on the market as anything else in our industry. There will also not always only be Kaito.
But I believe it will remain dominant, and the InfoFi CV you built on Kaito and co, will definitely stay with you, as more and more projects and companies in the space increasingly rely on such data when choosing who to work with or how to value a creator's voice.
