Argues the data layer is an overlooked AI business case, since general-purpose models lack domain expertise. OpenLedger connects domain data contributors with builders and uses Proof of Attribution to link datasets to model outputs.

It's been a while since I've been talking about @OpenledgerHQ, yet the bull thesis hasn't changed at all. I won't go through the all the reasoning around why DeAI is going to be absolutely massive again, bc I think at this point it's pretty much consensus. However, while many understand the relevance of open-source LLMs, decentralized GPU networks, etc., I feel like one of the biggest business cases in the industry remains largely overlooked. What do I mean? I'm talking about the data layer of the AI stack. Any AI model is just as good as the underlying data it was trained on. It's hence not a coincidence that ppl call data the new oil. It is literally what fuels the increasing relevance of AI across all verticals and aspects of our life. Yet, while hundreds of billions of dollars are invested in the advancement of this technology globally, and while ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok keep outperforming each other on various benchmarks with every new version that is released, these "general-purpose" models tend to lack the domain-specific expertise and reliability to properly serve various high-value use cases. But enough about the problem(s). Let's talk solutions, a.k.a Openledger. Openledger provides a platform that connects data contributors of domain-specifc knowledge with builders that are looking to train or finetune their models on specialized data. Through its novel Proof of Attribution mechanism, Openledger solves the "blackbox" problem of centralized AI, cryptographically linking dataset contributions to outputs of the models leveraging that data, thereby not just enabling builders of AI models that need access to domain-specific knowledge, but also allowing data providers to monetize efficiently. As the bull market accelerates again towards the end of the year, I strongly expect the DeAI/DeFAI/Robotics verticals to run hard. If that plays out and we see another agent wave, I think Openledger will be in a truly unique position to capture significant attention, adoption and value, which could serve as a major catalyst. The fact that there are literally dozens of partners and integrators already, which either spin the economic flywheel and/or complete the DeAI stack builders need to bring disruptive use cases to market (see post linked below) is further evidence to the fact that we're talking about a game-changer here. Anyhow NFA but I do recommend you to study $OPEN.
QUOTING @OpenledgerHQ
We began OpenLedger with a belief: AI should be transparent, fair, and open. Not a closed system run on scraped data and hidden pipelines, but a network where every contribution counts. That mission drives us forward today, and it’s only possible because of the partners building
