Standard Reserve bull case: reflexive issuance and Robinhood Chain liquidity

Five weeks in, 26.4M STANDARD were destroyed vs 18M issued, and the reserve sold 1,318 ETH into SpaceX, Alibaba and SK hynix tokens with pools 12x to 17x deeper than rivals. Open issues: SpaceX volume sits in a cheaper v3 pool and stock-pool fees go to a team multisig.

26.4M STANDARD destroyed vs 18M issued to bankers
Alibaba and SK hynix pools 17x and 12x deeper than next largest on Robinhood Chain
Robinhood Chain #3 in onchain spot volume at $34B over 30 days
DeFi was supposed to be fun. That's the title of @ponyo_fp's new @FourPillarsFP piece on @standard_rsv, and it's one of the best reads on the project so far. Here's my bull case on top of it. ↓ Standard is the first serious attempt in years to take the mechanisms that blew up last cycle (Olympus issuance, node economics, reflexive staking) and rebuild them with the failure modes designed out. How? Issuance follows real ETH flow into the pool. Capital leaves, pay gets cut 15 points on the spot and fees go to buybacks. Capital comes back, pay climbs 10 points at a time. Five weeks in: - 26.4M $STANDARD destroyed vs 18M issued to bankers - Supply sits below genesis - 7 of the first 10 rounds sent fees to buybacks - Pay level at 40%, dropping to 25% on the 24th of Oct The token is 47% off its high and the machine did exactly what it was built to do. Exits get expensive when everyone exits. 2% to 60% fee, half of which is burned, half of which is paid to whoever stays. Sitting at 46% at the time of writing, likely amid an increased amount of ppl exiting to claim their $SNP. On top of that, 110 dormant charters got recently revoked within only 63 minutes of becoming eligible. No mercy lol. Which is the point tho. And sure, so far it's "just a well designed token game". But it has the potential to be so much more: The reserve already sold 1,318 ETH into SpaceX, Alibaba and SK hynix tokens. Its Alibaba and SK hynix pools are 17x and 12x deeper than the next largest pool on Robinhood Chain. Every meme launched on the Standard launchpad routes its trades through those pools. Session-based fees charge more on weekends, when the underlying market is closed and the reserve is the one holding/owning the inventory. Why does that matter? Robinhood Chain is 3.5 months old and already #3 in onchain spot volume at $34B over 30 days. $15B of stock-token trading in its first 100 days across ~190 stocks. Robinhood customers traded $335B of US equities in August alone. Someone has to make markets for that when it comes onchain. Standard is positioning to be that someone, and with that, strongly aligns itself with Robinhood. And, quite frankly, the execution is a signal too: S-Bills, three stock markets, a launchpad and URC-5 merged into Uniswap's repo. Five weeks in, and without VC money. What's still unproven rn tho: - SpaceX shows the limitations: a cheaper v3 pool is bigger and takes most of the volume - Fees from the stock pools go to a team multisig, and nothing onchain routes that value directly back to $STANDARD yet - We're still early, and sustaining attention won't get easier Ponyo lays all of that out too tho, which is exactly why the piece below is so good. I'm a banker with one charter and 10 branches, earning ~750 $STANDARD a day (~$180) at the time of writing's 40% pay level, and before my cut of the exit fees. I still think this could grow into something huge. Will keep banking. NFA tho. DYOR (the below piece is a gud place to start btw).
