Personally, I believe that both narratives will give rise to new, successful L2 ecosystems.
The trend towards (app-specific) rollups, both on L2 and L3 will only accelerate with the emergence of RaaS providers, maturing modular building blocks and rollup tech stacks.
The interoperability within the tech stacks can give rise to powerful network effects.
However, there is also a lot of interesting work being done around IBC and/or ZK-powered bridging solutions that can enable inter-ecosystem composability among L2s and L3s.
A future of interoperable and composable L2/L3 ecosystems and an AA/intents-powered UX will change the game & reshape Web3! 🚀✨
