Explains ACP-77: L1 validators no longer need the 2,000 AVAX Primary Network stake and instead pay a small fixed P-Chain fee. Covers interchain messaging, C-Chain as hub, compliant private L1s and fault isolation.

Key claims
2,000 AVAX Primary Network staking requirement removed
L1 validators pay an estimated 1-10 AVAX per month
Separate validator sets isolate faults
𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟬 is coming. 🔺 𝗧𝗟;𝗗𝗥 🔻 ➤ Largest @avax upgrade to date ➤ Turns @avax into ecosystem of sovereign L1s ➤ Fully customizable & interoperable chains ➤ Removes Primary Network validation requirement ➤ Lowers economic barriers & cost for L1 validators ➤ Enables institutions to build compliant L1s ➤ Suite of mature out-of-the-box tooling 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. 🔻 The 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟬 upgrade will maintain the fast finality and high throughput of Avalanche Subnets while introducing customizability features such as staking options, gas tokens, and governance models. At its core stands 𝗔𝗖𝗣-𝟳𝟳, a.k.a. "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘀". A key change is the removal of the 2,000 $AVAX staking requirement for validators on the Primary Network, significantly lowering the economic barriers for new L1 blockchains. Validators will now only need to meet the staking requirements set by the L1, reducing the cost and complexity of validation. L1 validators must still register with the Primary Network’s P-Chain for interoperability, incurring a small, fixed fee (estimated at 1-10 $AVAX per month). This preserves network connectivity and supports the ecosystem-native interop features without the previous high economic costs with validators experiencing lower running cost (no need to validate Primary Network).   Through Avalanche's Interchain Messaging, all L1s in the ecosystem are seamlessly interconnected, allowing liquidity to flow freely across chains and making UX akin to one unified network.   To build their chain, devs can simply leverage the pre-built infrastructure and tools available on C-Chain, ensuring accelerated development.   The @avax Primary Network (or specifically C-Chain as a programmable base layer) will continue to be important.   It will function as the foundational, economic hub for the entire ecosystem, allowing seamless liquidity flow across all L1s (via Avalanche Interchain Messaging).   For institutions, the upgrade resolves compliance concerns by allowing the creation of independent, private L1s without exposure to the public Primary Network.   Finally, the separation of validator sets also ensures improved fault isolation.   That means faults or congestion on the Primary Network won’t impact the performance of other sovereign L1s in the ecosystem.   𝗦𝗼, 𝘄𝗲𝗻? 👀   The incentivized 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟬 testnet is coming soon.   Tooling and documentation coming sooner.   Big $AVAX catalyst incoming? 🔺 Learn more about ACP-77 in the deep dive by @RedactedRes linked below! 🔻 x.com/RedactedRes/status/1808105490829672607
