AI agents will be the breaking point for crypto.
They are key to unlock the full potential that blockchains bear as the economic plumbing of agent-centric economies.
Millions of autonomous instances of AI engaging in economic activity with each other on top of deterministic & programmable infrastructure.

➊ 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜
@Aptos is a high-speed blockchain with parallel execution, powered by Move that provides the ideal base layer for AI use cases.
Move is a statically, strongly typed and formally verified programming language, specifically designed for blockchain development.
What that means is that variable types are determined at compilation, not runtime, leaving fewer opportunities for type confusion, which can introduce vulnerabilities in contract code when it's being run.
Formal verification on the other hand refers to mathematically proving that a software program satisfies a formal specification of its behaviour.
In short, Move is purpose-built for secure app development. It is ideal for complex use cases with high security requirements (e.g. AI/ML).
A throughput capacity of 1000s of TPS and consistently low, sub-cent transaction fees, powered by a high-performance consensus algorithm and parallel execution, @Aptos also allows for an unmatched execution speed and user experience.
The high speed and low cost is another key requirement of agent-centric economies, which ultimately are dependent on the efficiency of the underlying, economic plumbing.
This plumbing is the blockchain on top of which the on-chain agents operate and where they control funds that they can use to acquire other resources and transact with each other.
The unique combination of security, high-performance execution, and exceptionally low cost, positions @Aptos among the leading chains to accommodate AI use cases at scale.
For @Aptos as an ecosystem, this could be huge.
Fully automated on-chain interactions through autonomous AI agents are the endgame of crypto UX.
@Aptos could be among the first to make this a reality.
➋ 𝗔𝗽𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘅 𝗜𝗢 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸
@Aptos also partnered with @ionet already back in April, to make GPU resources available to AI builders on @Aptos.
Additionally, @ionet and @AptosLabs will collaborate on developing a suite of AI models and inference products for their future release on the Aptos network.
These future offerings will leverage the Aptos network to facilitate payments.
The press release from back then also notes that @ionet's generative AI product dubbed BC8(.)ai is already using Aptos to “process over 500,000 transactions a day,” which is why $IO decided to deepen its collaboration with Aptos.
No wonder that Aptos founder @moshaikh is an advisor to $IO as well.
➌ 𝗔𝗽𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘅 𝗡𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻
Recently, @Aptos also announced a partnership with @nillion, which will give the >250 apps on Aptos access to Nillion's Blind Compute.
@nillion is a decentralized secure computation network designed for handling high-value data without compromising privacy.
It leverages privacy-enhancing technologies like Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to allow computations on encrypted data, eliminating the need to decrypt it for processing. This ensures data remains secure throughout the computation process.
Through its custom programming language, Nada, developers can build blind applications that handle sensitive data while maintaining security. Key use cases for @nillion include private AI, secure healthcare data processing, and sensitive data storage such as passwords and trading information.
