Cytonic explained: MultiVM L1 with shared state and a pre-deposit airdrop
Post451 words
Breaks down Cytonic, a MultiVM L1 supporting SVM and EVM (soon MoveVM) with a shared global state and atomic cross-VM calls to fix liquidity fragmentation. Also explains its Energy and Flames pre-deposit airdrop system.
Key claims
Raised $8.3M seed led by Lattice
Atomic cross-VM calls on a single state
Energy earns from deposits, Flames drives token distribution

Cytonic is a MultiVM L1 that raised $8.3 million in a seed round led by @latticexyz with participation from @Lemniscap, @iobc_capital, @LaserDigital_, @CryptoHayes & more notable investors.

@cytonic_com is the first L1 blockchain that supports multiple virtual machines to operate on a single network with shared storage.
This allows transactions on different VMs to be processed synchronously within one single state transition, and enables atomic swaps with cross VM calls.

The EVM suffers inherent limitations with regards to expressivity and scalability, making many use cases entirely unfeasible onchain.
@solana with the SVM was the first major altVM ecosystem that emerged outside of Ethereum, enabling Rust-based app development and supporting parallel execution for massive throughput.
With Move and WASM based high-performance execution environments also emerging, the design space for apps continues to broaden.
However, one problem remains: Cross-VM composability.

The answer is simple anon: Cytonic.
Cytonic's execution environment is compatible with Solana's SVM, the EVM, and soon other emerging VMs (e.g. MoveVM).
Developers will be able to build apps in whatever VM they want, while Cytonic maintains a global, shared state and allows for contracts in one VM to atomically call contracts in another one, all without the friction that exists between standalone L1s that run different VMs.
This drastically improves cross-VM composability and counters the fragmentation of liquidity and users that has caused significant UX friction across the Web3 landscape.
Additionally, Cytonic provides:
โค Zero-effort onboarding for apps from EVM chains or Solana
โค Compatibility with existing dev tools across all supported chains
โค Integration with existing wallets (Solana, EVM, etc.)

Cytonic just launched its pre-deposit campaign, allowing users to deposit any supported ERC-20 or SPL token to audited* contracts deployed across multiple blockchains (incl. Ethereum, Solana and Arbitrum).
* ) Audited by by @zellic_io and @fuzzland_
Users that deposit assets to these contracts will immediately start earning airdrop rewards in a dual system that powers a fully gamified user experience.
Let me explain. โ
โค Energy: The primary currency used in the airdrop campaign, which is earned based on the deposited value on any supported chain, accumulating continuously.
โค Flames: The currency that will be used for token distribution. It is earned by opening chests or receiving lottery rewards within the airdrop program.
After the mainnet launch, all user funds will be bridged to the Cytonic chain and will be ready to use within the ecosystem, and participating users will receive rewards in the form of Cytonic's native token proportionally to their Flames holdings.
NFA anon but at least DYOR.
