Swiss team building open infrastructure for tokenized equities that def deserves to join this working group.
And btw: DTC custodies ~$114T of US securities. In October it starts minting digital twins of Russell 1000 stocks, index ETFs and Treasuries into whitelisted participant wallets. Its first production trades in July ran on two chains: DTCC's private Besu network and @CantonNetwork.
Edel is a Canton-native perps DEX for tokenized equities and commodities (def a strong positioning within Canton ecosystem), allowing for private positions, multi-party institutional workflows and more. It's been in closed alpha since July and is/will be also accompanied by Runway (listing calls, live) and Vaults (looping and carry strategies, coming) on product front.
They have a stacked advisory board too (e.g. incl. Brad Klaas, ex BlackRock global head of securities lending), and imo Edel is def an interesting one to check out if you're looking to bet on Canton and/or tokenization in general.
