When combined, the @radius_xyz tech lets users benefit from synchronous interoperability across multiple rollups, with @AvailProject Nexus furthering the trust minimization with faster cryptographic guarantees.
The composability itself is enabled by the shared sequencer, which receives a cross-chain bundle and determines the block order for atomic execution.
The rollup executors then build and execute the block as ordered, effectively separating sequencing from execution.
Currently, isolated sequencing lacks coordination for cross-rollup transactions. Hence, atomic transactions are not possible.
Radius addresses this issue with a mechanism ensuring atomic execution through two ways of verification:
