Whitelist spots reportedly trade OTC at $40k to $50k before a token exists. He holds because the genesis cohort owns all issuance on day one, dilution is limited to 100 new branches a day and exits carry congestion-priced fees.

18 days ago I wrote a TL;DR on @standard_rsv bc I thought it was the most interesting mechanism I'd read about in DeFi this year. It got me a whitelist spot. Ppl are now reportedly bidding north of $40k-$50k OTC for those spots. For a free mint. Before a token exists. Yet, I'm definitely not selling mine. The why: It's an onchain central bank. You don't buy a token, you run a bank. 1,000 free soulbound charters are issued at genesis, 1 per wallet. So far 350 have been allocated, and 650 seats are still open, just 3 days ahead of launch. Each charter is a bank with 1 to 10 branches. Each branch is one equal share of every epoch's $STANDARD issuance. What many don't understand: - Charter auctions start at 0 per day. New banks only exist when the code says so. - Expansion licenses are capped at 100 per day, 3 per charter, paid in $STANDARD, 100% burned. So the genesis cohort owns 100% of issuance on day one and the pie can only get sliced thinner by 100 branches a day, max. At that pace the cohort alone needs 90+ days to max out (so dilution remains rate limited). The bank itself has one input: net ETH flow through one Uniswap v4 pool. - Inflow → issuance rises, fees buy tokenized gold - Outflow → issuance cut instantly, fees buy back + burn $STANDARD Want out? Retire a branch and pay a congestion priced fee, half burned, half paid to the bankers who stayed (early jeeters lose). Base issuance and epoch length are not public yet, so we'll have to wait to do more serious yield and moon maths. But if you want to play around, you can do so here: t.co/Dhj2ZNfuc9 But back to Reserve. They just completed two rounds of audits without any critical findings (those audits were co-funded by @UniswapFND btw), and have announced the genesis charter mint to take place on 14th of September. While the team hasn't formally confirmed, Robinhood Chain is wired into the frontend, and given the recent activity spikes and ecosystem traction, it would make sense to launch there. But while the hype around Standard Reserve and the upcoming genesis mint has notably accelerated over the past days and weeks, too many on CT are still sleeping and probably won't care until it's all over their timeline again when the mint goes live. If you're reading this now tho, you're still early. So I suggest you don't become one of the fadooors. Go read the damn whitepaper (or at least my TL;DR in the comments), watch this one closely, and do whatever you can to get one of the last 650 seats for launch day. NFA, DYOR.
